2 Year Funding
At Rowans we offer free 2 year funding for any family who meets the eligibility criteria. The funding is over 38 weeks a year for 15 hours each week. Please click to access the eligibility checker.

3 Year Funding
All 3 and 4 year olds are entitled to 15 hours of free nursery education for 38 weeks of the year. This applies until they reach compulsory school age (the term following their fifth birthday). At The Rowans we offer the free funded hours in a variety of ways so we can support each family to the best of our ability. Please see below birth dates for when your child can access the free funding.

We also support the 30 hours free funding 38 weeks a year for 3 and 4 year olds for working parents which your child is eligible the term after their third birthday. Please click to access the free funding.

Children born between 1st January and 31st March: are eligible for a free place from 1 April following their third birthday or the beginning of the summer* school term.

Children born between 1st April and 31st August: are eligible for a free place from 1st September following their third birthday or the beginning of the autumn* school term.

Children born between 1st September and 31st December: are eligible for a free place from 1st January following their third birthday or the beginning of the spring* school term.

Tax-Free Childcare
We are an approved setting for families who access tax-free childcare. You can get up to £500 every 3 months (up to £2,000 a year) for each of your children to help with the costs of childcare. This goes up to £1,000 every 3 months if a child is disabled (up to £4,000 a year). Please click for more information or to create an account: tax-free-childcare.
